Your first appointment at Pelican Tax Service should be a revealing experience. Your first appointment with us will probably take a little while longer than all the ones that come after it. We will need to record your basic information, to include the following:
Your name, birth date, and social security number.
Your spouse's name, birth date, and social security number.
Your dependents' names, birth dates, and social security numbers.
Your address and occupation.
After we gather that info, we will need any tax documents for the current tax year that were sent to you, as well as any deductions you might think that apply to you. Rest assured, even if you miss them, we will ask enough questions that you can be confident that every deduction possible will be considered. Most tax returns at Pelican will last about 30 minutes, from start to finish. Business returns will take a bit longer, as will more complex returns.
