If you haven't already heard, the Stimulus Tracker Tool is up and running! With it, you can:

  • Track your stimulus payment

  • Choose the method of delivery (direct deposit or check).

If your payment is already being processed, you may not be able to choose a new delivery method.

Be aware that the tool is allowing only a certain number of entries per taxpayer, so make sure that you enter in the information correctly on the first or second try. You should use the "Taxpayer" social security number - this will be the name that appears first on your form 1040.

You may also need to have on hand your 2019 and/or 2018 Adjusted Gross Income and the amount of your tax owed to the IRS or the amount of your federal refund.

Your AGI is listed on the 2019 form 1040 on line 8b; your tax owed and your refund amount are found on the second page of the 1040, around the middle of the page - they will have section titles "Refund" and "Amount You Owe".

Your AGI on the 2018 form 1040 is found on line 7, with your "Refund" section near the bottom of the page and the "Amount You Owe" right underneath the refund section.

The tools for Filers and Non-Filers are available at this link:
