As our business grows and develops in our community, we've learned that our desk appointments are where we really shine. However, we still offer drop-off service to anyone who prefers it:
STANDARD DROP-OFFS
All drop-offs are done in the order in which they are received.
We do not offer turnaround times for standard drop-offs.
We will file an extension for any dropped-off tax return that is not completed, signed, and paid for by the filing deadline, and we will continue to work on it after tax season ends.
A drop-off appointment will put you ahead of any walk-ins or phone calls, reducing your wait time. Neither a drop-off nor a pickup appointment guarantees time with the tax preparer; if you would like to discuss your tax return with Kenny, please schedule a desk appointment instead .
If you expect to owe taxes, we STRONGLY recommend that you schedule a desk appointment or expedite your drop-off.
EXPEDITED DROP-OFFS
If you need service within two weeks, an expedite fee will be assessed at the time of your request. This is not refundable and must be paid before work begins.
The option to expedite is not guaranteed to be available after March 31; this will be dependent on the workload.
The expedite option generally does not apply to past-year returns, which will be completed after the current tax season has ended. If this is a concern, please schedule a desk appointment.
DIGITAL DROP-OFFS
Digital drop-offs are treated the same way as paper drop-offs. Remember to send us an email to let us when you've sent us all of your documents (paper trail is always best!).
Be aware that your return will not be put into our drop-off queue until you have successfully submitted your Client Information (or your annual Review Sheet) and your Drop-off Policy. These three documents can be found in the "Public Files" section of the portal.
To expedite your return: After you send us an email to tell us your documents are uploaded, we will process your file for the drop-off queue. Your drop-off policy will alert us to your expedite request and we will email you a pay link. Your expedite start date will be the date we receive your payment. Work will not begin until we are notified that payment has been made. If you change your mind and want to do a Standard drop-off, please email us a new drop-off policy form with your new selection and signature date (paper trail is always best!).
To speed up your drop-off visit, you can download and fill out your Client Information Sheet (or your Returning Client Review Sheet) and a Drop-off Sheet to deliver to us with your documents. Links to those PDF's are available under the "Resources" tab in our website menu. If you do not have access to a printer, no worries - we have the forms here in our office.
