Tax + COVID + Flu Season!

Updated: Jan 4, 2023

In order to keep our clients, our family, and our community safe from exposure to COVID-19 and the annual flu, we hope you find the following information helpful during your visit.

We are accepting desk appointments. Please call, email, or visit our Facebook or Google pages to keep up with any possible closures or service availability changes.

Kenny and Addie appreciate your cooperation as it will help us to avoid potential closures due to illness, quarantine, or self-isolation.

- We have hand sanitizer and disposable masks available to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and the flu. My mask protects you and your mask protects me. We also have a spacious lobby to accommodate social distancing.

- Consider making a pickup/drop-off appointment or using our digital drop-off service to reduce potential exposure.

- If you or another member of your household is not feeling well, please call or email us to reschedule your appointment.

- If you have been exposed and/or tested positive to COVID-19 within 10 days of visiting our office, we ask that you let us know so that we can alert other clients who may have been exposed.

- If Pelican feels the need to temporarily close our office due to health concerns, all scheduled clients will be contacted to reschedule. We will continue to allow drop-offs and pickups by appointment only, as well as digital drop-offs. We will implement social distancing measures and cleanliness routines to make our office as safe as possible.

- In case one of our employees tests positive for COVID, the office will be closed to all appointments, but we will continue to accept drop-offs at the door as long as we have employees who feel healthy enough to work. We will alert any clients who may have been exposed.

- Due to the high-traffic nature of our business we ask that you practice the safety measures recommended by the CDC so that we can keep our doors open and our clients safe. You can learn about how to protect yourself, your family, and your neighbors on the CDC's website dedicated to COVID-19: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/prevention.html - Information on how the IRS is handling COVID-19 and any stimulus package that is passed by government can be found on their COVID-19 dedicated page: https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus These efforts will help keep Kenny and Addie in good health so that we can continue to serve our community, and we hope that these recommendations will help keep you and your family healthy for another year. We sincerely appreciate your business, and we hope that everyone will stay safe and healthy.
