When getting your taxes done at Pelican, the first and most important decision to make is: How would you like to have them done? There are three options that we offer.
Desk Appointment
A desk appointment can be scheduled over the phone or online (click here to book your appointment!). This option is perfect for people who like to be involved in the tax appointment - asking questions, providing details to tax matters, chatting with Kenny about work and the kids, etc. Walk-in clients are accepted February 1 - April 15.
In-Office Drop-off
For those who would rather not deal with their tax return, we invite you to schedule your in-office drop-off through our online booking page here. If you have access to a fax machine, go for it! Our number is 405-265-7686.
When you drop off your tax return, we will ask you to review your Client Information Sheet from the previous year (new clients will fill one out), which we will either show you in the office, or we can fax or email it to you. After we get all of your documents give us about two weeks to get it finished; we'll call you if we have questions. When it's done, we will call you to let you know the results of your return.
You can pay with a credit card over the phone, stop by the office to pay, or mail a check. When your return is complete, you can sign the necessary paperwork by whichever means that you would like: in person, fax, or digital drop-off (see below).
Digital Drop-off
The idea is the same as the In-Office Drop-off, but instead of handing your documents to us personally we use a secure, online client portal. You can safely upload your tax documents where we (and you) can access them, which is much safer than email. When we have finished your tax return, we can upload your tax return documents and signature pages to the portal for you to download, sign, and upload back to the portal.
